Laura Sweet
National President

The National President provides overall guidance to the Sorority and gives directions for all endeavors; supervises the work of all officers. Laura Ward Sweet is a member of Alpha Sigma Chapter at Southern Mississippi University in Hattisburg, Mississippi. She has served as the National Panhellenic Delegate for Sigma Sigma Sigma and served on the NPC Executive Committee as the College Panhellenic Chairman. Laura lives in Greenville, North Carolina with her husband, Greg. They have one son, Chris who is attending NC State University. She is employed at East Carolina University as a University Administrator. Tennis and sailing are her two favorite hobbies.
Barb Stone
National Treasurer

The National Treasurer safeguards the financial stability of Tri Sigma and supervises the work and planning of the Treasury Department. Barbara Stoe Stone is well equipped for her new position on the Executive Council. Barb was initiated as a Beta Tau at the University of Detroit where she majored in math. Throughout her career she has worked as a Computer Consultant, mostly telecommuting for more than 25 years during which she became a COBOL software expert. She has served Tri Sigma as National Alumnae Coordinator and Director of Volunteer Services. This mother of six enjoys sewing, stenciling and gardening. She currently resides in Ivanhoe, Illinois.
Mandy Chocheles
Alumnae Vice President

The Alumnae Vice President directs National Officers who work with individual alumnae and alumnae chapters; develops programming for chapter operations and anniversaries. Mandy joined the Gamma Eta chapter at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA, where she lives with her husband, Pete. They have 3 grown children, and 3 granddaughters/Sigma legacies. She has retired from her teaching career, but remains active as a volunteer in her parish school, and as a private tutor, as well as a longtime member of the choir. Mandy also enjoys her membership in the New Orleans Alumnae Chapter. She has served in the Alumnae Department since 1989,as an Alumnae Coordinator and Alumnae Director.
Emily Eure Ellis
Collegiate Vice President

The Collegiate Vice President directs National Officers who work with collegians; develops programming for chapter operations; and oversees Rituals. Emily is a member of the Gamma Beta chapter at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She has served Tri Sigma as a Chapter Advisor, Collegiate Coordinator, Area Director and on Tri Sigma’s NPC Delegation. Emily lives in Rocky Mount, North Carolina with her husband, Duke. She is employed at Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center as a Clinical Social Worker. Emily is active with the MS Society and advocates for those affected by brain injury and stroke. She volunteers in the community with The Chamber of Rocky Mount and on the Local Outreach committee at First United Methodist Church.

Bethany A. Deines
Membership Development Vice President

Bethany Deines, Membership Development Vice President, joined the Beta Kappa Chapter at Arizona State University in 1987. She has served for Tri Sigma for a total of fourteen years beginning in 1992 as a National Collegiate Chairman. Beth was elected in 2004 as the Publications Vice President and transitioned to Membership Development Vice President in 2006 to fill the position. Prior National Officer service includes being a member of the Walton House Board of Directors, Executive Director, National Ritual Director, National Scholarship Director, and Director of College Panhellenic Services. She currently resides in Hamilton, Ohio with her two cats, Francis and Spencer. She is employed as the Director of Annual Gifts for the Children’s Medical Center of Dayton in Dayton, OH. Beth volunteers as the Chairman of the Association of Fraternity Advisors Foundation. She is a member of the Fraternity Executives Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Association of Fraternity Advisors. Locally, Beth is active in the Oxford Rotary Club.

Allison Swick-Duttine
Publications Vice President

The Publications Vice President supervises and coordinates work on all publications and website; workshops, and educational programming; directs the Publications Department. Allison Swick-Duttine joined the Psi Chapter at Marshall University in 1991. Prior to becoming the Publications Vice President, she served Tri Sigma as Director of Programs and Collegiate Coordinator. Allison lives in Plattsburgh, New York, with her husband Matt and their two dogs: Truman the Yorkshire terrier, and Adler the dachshund. Allison is employed as the Director of Fraternity/Sorority Life & Organization Development at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She serves as the President of the SUNY Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Association, a volunteer for the Association of Fraternity Advisors and on the Board of Directors for Gamma Sigma Alpha Greek Scholastic Honor Society. Allison also serves on the City of Plattsburgh's College-Community Commission. Allison enjoys books and movies and loves cooking and antiquing in her spare time. She spends time each year volunteering as a SUNY-Plattsburgh Alternative Breaks site leader during trips to Managua, Nicaragua, as well as her home state of West Virginia.
Reatha Cole Cox
National Panhellenic Delegate

The NPC Delegate represents Tri Sigma at the National Panhellenic Conference; directs the Panhellenic Department. Reatha began her volunteer service as a Leadership Consultant and has served the National Organization is numerous positions over the past 17 years. Reatha is a member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She currently serves as the Associate Executive Director for the Southeastern Panhellenic Conference and as a Regional Chapter Director for the National Order of Omega. Reatha lives in Natchitoches, Louisiana, with her husband, Johnny Cox, and her cat, Dude. She is employed as the Director of Student Success at Northwestern State University. Reatha is a member of the Natchitoches Alumnae Chapter. She also serves her community as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club and the Service League of Natchitoches. Sigma Sisters have a standing invitation to visit Reatha in her hometown, for a bit of southern hospitality and great food at Merci Beaucoup, their family restaurant!
