Accreditation

In August 2004, Tri Sigma introduced its Chapter Accreditation program in response to the “Call for Values Congruence” document, which was developed by a group of university presidents who joined together to develop an initiative to transform the collegiate Greek environment. Chapters were required to achieve 100% of the standards between January and December of each year in order to be Accredited or Accredited with Honors. It is our goal that each Sigma Sigma Sigma collegiate chapter establishes the foundation for a quality lifetime experience for its members. Chapter Accreditation outlines the minimum standards for chapter achievement and operations. The areas of Accreditation include Recruitment, Financial Stability, Ritual and Values, Sisterhood and Group Life, Campus and Chapter Leadership, Member Development and Educational Programming, Philanthropy, Scholarship, Chapter Operations, and Panhellenic. Chapters must meet 100% of Accreditation Standards in order to be Accredited. Chapters are evaluated annually to monitor growth, determine progress, and offer recognition through the national awards program.
