Chapter Development



Chapters Officers Officer Training Program (OTP)
All newly elected chapter officers and chairmen participate in our Officer Training Program.  During the first 60 days of office, new officers will learn about developing expectations, appointment of Chapter Chairmen, calendar planning & goal setting, ritual review, and risk prevention and awareness.  This program is facilitated by the local Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) and provides chapter officers with a strong foundation of information and skills to begin their term in office.
 
Tri Sigma Officer Academy
In January of each year we have regional weekend programs for chapter officers to come together to further build upon and focus on skill development for strong women leaders. 
  
Chapter MembersEssential Sigma
The Essential Sigma is our comprehensive membership education program.  As an organization committed to friendship, character and conduct, we have designed a comprehensive membership education program focused on these values.  The end product is women who understand and embody the values of friendship, character and conduct.
 
The Essential Sigma is broken into three sequences.  The Arc Sequence is specially designed for the new member.  The Triangle Sequence is education and contemplations specifically designed for the newly initiated member through the year before graduation.  The Circle Sequence is specially designed for the member approaching graduation and learning the skills needed to be successful in life after college.
  
Labyrinth Leadership Experience
The Labyrinth Leadership Experience is a five day intense leadership experience held in Washington DC early each summer.  The program focuses on the five core values of Tri Sigma and how we, as women, lead within our communities.  Women may be nominated and then must apply and be accepted to participate in this capstone experience. 
 
Dunham Women of Character Institute
The Dunham Women of Character Institute is an emerging leader program reserved for young members of the sorority.  Each chapter may select two women to attend this program that focuses on character development, leadership styles, change theories, and the choice to lead.
